KoT cut OPAW is River Eletec’s proprietary crystal technology platform designed for advanced frequency control and ultra-low phase noise clock generation. By combining the original KoT cut crystal structure with OPAW (Orthogonal Plate Acoustic Wave) vibration, this next-generation architecture enables ultra-high-frequency fundamental-mode oscillation together with excellent temperature stability in a compact package. By thoroughly suppressing unwanted resonances (spurious modes), it delivers a clean signal spectrum and ultimate precision.
This innovative technology is offered in two powerful formats to meet the exact needs of advanced hardware engineers. When deployed as a crystal unit paired with a customer’s IC, it fundamentally elevates baseline communication quality. More importantly, when integrated with a custom-designed, optimized IC to form a high-performance crystal oscillator, it significantly reduces phase jitter in high-speed serial communication approaching the GHz range. This plug-and-play solution eliminates the need for complex circuit matching, delivering an overwhelmingly low noise floor right out of the box.
